The American Valais Blacknose Sheep Registry (AVBSR) is a non-profit corporation which has been established as a repository of pedigree and genetic information of Valais Blacknose Sheep in the United States of America. The guiding principles and policies of AVBSR are to benefit the establishment and growth of the Valais Blacknose Sheep breed in the USA and to maintain the integrity of documentation of genetic information and ownership through registry. AVBSR provides for the registration of American Percentage Valais Blacknose Sheep, American Purebred Valais Blacknose Sheep, and Fullblood Valais Blacknose Sheep; issuing official documentation of pedigree, genetic information and ownership, and any and all functions connected with registration.
